Why vegan cupcakes?
Who doesn’t love cupcakes? But seriously, why cupcakes and not something else?
Well, several years ago I had what you might call a mother f*cking cooking disaster! I was trying to be all fancy and whip up some potatoes au gratin, which I don’t even really like but Brian requested them so GAME ON! I don’t really know what happened but the story goes that the potatoes sort of got really burned in the broiler. Like HOLY F*CK THESE POTATOES ARE ON FIRE! Kids screaming and crying. Dogs barking. Husband getting ready to call 911. Fire alarm going off kind of fire.
So the potatoes au gratin went into the trash. After they stopped flaming and cooled off, of course. Some say the potatoes were burned beyond recognition. I say does anyone really remember what happened all those years ago? I mean, this sort of sounds like an urban legend if you ask for my damn opinion.
Brian likes to bring this cooking fail up any chance he gets. Whatever. What the f*ck can he cook? Anyway, despite that minor fail, I can now legit make any dish vegan.
My specialty is cupcakes. Because everybody needs a sweet little pick me up!
