Get out your eating pants - The Vulgar Vegan will be at Chicago Vegan Test Kitchen's Buena Vegan Social Club on Thursday, Jan. 19!! Visit us at Lo Rez Brewing, 2101 S. Carpenter Ave. in Chicago from 5 to 9 p.m. and satisfy your sweet tooth. Come out for a fun night featuring local plant-based chefs, cruelty-free artisans and mindful body care and more!
We'll have our always delicious vegan cupcakes, including Damn Right I Got The Blues and The Campfire plus a couple other flavors, as well as our whole bean coffee. Missed your chance to stock up on any of our limited-edition holiday coffees? You're in luck - they'll be 50% off when you stop by our table!
We want to take a moment to THANK YOU for a truly amazing 2022! During our time at the Berwyn Shops, we sold more than 5,000 cupcakes and your donations helped raise more than $375 for Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue and BEDS Plus Care, in addition to the $1,000 raised collectively by all of the Berwyn Shops vendors and the Berwyn Development Corp. for MacNeal Hospital's breast cancer program!!
While we are sad we won't see your smiling faces every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we are still baking up a storm at The Hatchery and ready to take your pre-order for pickup or local delivery. We are currently scheduling about two weeks out.
While we will certainly miss seeing your smiling faces every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you will be able to find us at pop-up markets and The Hatchery, where we do all of our baking, while we search for a brick-and-mortar location. Next month, we'll be at Chicago Vegan Test Kitchen's Valentine's Market at Metropolitan Brewing on Sunday, Feb. 12 from noon to 4 p.m.

Farewell, Berwyn Shops! As we look back on 2022, we are incredibly grateful for the experiences and opportunities that we have had. We truly have THE BEST customers, whose love and support have helped make a dream come true. Being a part of the very first season at the Berwyn Shops was truly a magical experience that we won’t ever forget! Next up? Searching for that perfect brick and mortar location!
